The effect of blast loading on bridges has been ignored for many years, yet with the present geo-political situation, it is gaining on significance. The paper presents a method of supplementary loading for evaluation of the effect of blast loading on bridges and its application in a form of a free-to-use software.A computational tool for assessing the ef-fect of remote explosion was developed. It combines the described methods and pro-duces comprehensive results. Several case studies for most importantbridges in Prague were performed with using this tool.
