Original language description
GPS Solutions and VERIPOS have jointly implemented an operational system for the real-time estimation and distribution of global orbit and clock corrections for both the GPS and the GLONASS constellations. The corrections for this global augmentation service, called Apex, allow for precise point positioning (PPP) at the several cm-level. The system is based on a 75-station global tracking network (75 dual frequency GPS and 45 dual frequency GLONASS tracking sites). All dual frequency reference sites aredually redundant (two receivers and two antennas at each site) and stream their phase and pseudorange observations to three redundant processing centers. Two processing centers are located separately near Aberdeen, Scotland and a third one is located inSingapore.
