    Application of Image Processing in Cyclically Loaded Structures

  • Original language description

    This paper deals with an easily available means of vibration measurement which is the digital image processing. A method is proposed whose internal procedures are described in detailed and its advantages and limitations method are discussed. The verification of the method was performed on measuring the free vibration of a cantilever caused by imposing an initial displacement. The flow chart of the method is also given. Recommendations and requirements connected with proper use of the proposed method aregiven and will help with its implementation.
