Výskyt toxických kovů v sedimentech a rybách vybraných pražských nádrží

  • Original language description

The aim of this paper was to explore toxic metals contamination of sediments and different species of fish in Prague's reservoirs. The monitoring was conducted on twelve Prague's reservoirs. The results had show that the fish is exposed to chronic effectrelated to accumulation of metals in bottom sediments. The highest load was monitored in the case of the ponds Kyjský, Strnad and flood pool Stodůlecký. The results show that toxic metals accumulate in sediment as well in fish. The acceptable concentration of toxic metals in fish have been exceeded in a few samples (such as liver, heart, bones, fins and scales), but none of these samples were meat. This study refers the need for more detailed studies.
