Original language description
Prestressed concrete bridges are very sensitive to the increase in long-term deflections. Reliable forecasts deflections of bridge structure during construction and durability is crucial for achieving good durability. General Chabera Bridge was opened in2009 and immediately after completion of construction showed a significant deflection in the middle field. The bridge is one of the biggest in the Czech Republic in terms of its span. Measurement of deflection is carried out in four stages during the year and is monitored a total of 86 points located in two sections. The main results are the change of the deflection line of the bridge structure, which places special demands on the measurement procedure.
