Overview of basic types of concrete constructions in building structures

Original language description

This article is only a mere sample of a larger work dealing with the design of selected concrete constructions in building structures (concrete slabs for ceiling constructions with several types of support of both regular and irregular shapes, stairs elements, columns, walls, foundations, underground and load-bearing walls). In the first part of the article, common types of concrete and reinforced concrete constructions of building structures are summarized and the basic principle of assessing the constructions is stated. In the second part, a commented example of a design and assessment of a selected construction are described.
