THE RESEARCH OF VEGETATION INFLUENCE ON THE NUTRIENTS TRANSPORT FROM THE SOIL DURING RAINFALL-RUNOFF EVENTS

  • Original language description

Flood and erosion protection is one of the current solved problems in many areas in the world. Today there are many mathematical and physical models which are able to simulate real precipitation and formed surface runoff with simulation sediment transport. Experimental research of rainfall-runoff processes provides very important knowledge for validation and calibration these models. These models can be upgraded by simulation of soil particles transport and transport on nutrients bounded on these particles. This transport is one of the very negative consequences of rainfall-runoff and erosion events. This article presents experimental research with mobile rainfall simulator on Department of Irrigation, Drainage and Landscape Engineering on The Czech Technical University in Prague. It is focused on soil transport and nutrient transport during the artificial rainfall-runoff events in more details. There are in details presented surface runoff and soil transport process and amount of nutr
