    Identification of Water Vapour Transport Properties of Gypsum Using Evolutionary Algorithms

  • Original language description

    In this paper, a new method for determination of water vapour transport parameters of building materials is presented. This method is based on inverse analysis approach and uses evolutionary algorithms for that purpose. First, the laboratory experiment is conducted in order to determine relative humidity profiles within the gypsum block. Then, the genetic algorithms and genetic programming are applied in order to find mathematical description of water vapour diffusion resistance factor of gypsum.
