Energy Efficiency of Several Types of Building Envelopes under Different Climatic Conditions
Original language description
In this paper, computer code HEMOT (HEat and MOisture Transport) was used in order to simulate heat and moisture transport in several types of building envelopes under different climatic conditions. The climatic data of Athens, Kazan, Oslo, Prague and Reykjavik were obtained from climatic software Meteonorm. The simulation resulted in determination of hygric and thermal conditions in building envelopes and these data were used subsequently to evaluate energy efficiency. Based on the results, optimal composition of building envelope was proposed.
