Energy Benefits of Using Fly Ash in the Concrete
Original language description
The paper discusses a use of fly ash in the preparation of the concrete, or the cement paste. The properties of cement pastes containing waste material - power plant fly ash are presented in detail. The comparison of cement paste and cement paste mixed with fly ash is possible to conclude that the fly ash as a waste material is often conveniently applicable material. Comparable features of both types of pastes are compressive strength, tensile strength in bending and modulus of elasticity. The volume density is a significant and comparable property, too.
