Original language description
An increased interest in high quality building materials that undoubtedly is one of the major glowing trends in contemporary building industry is the first concern of this study. A set of parameters of high performance concrete (HPC) with natural zeoliteas Portland cement replacement in the amount of up to 40% in presented in the study. Natural zeolite is one of the pozzolanic materials. Utilization of pozzolanic material is thus accompanied by lower demand of energy needed for Portland clinker calcination which usually results in lower production costs and CO2 emissions. Besides, the application of pozzolanic materials can improve properties of hardened concrete, namely strength and durability related parameters. Basic physical characteristics and thermal properties are studied and compared with reference concrete. What is the effective amount of natural zeolite used as a partial replacement of cement for concrete production and it is validation is also a main aim of this study. Meas
