Original language description
This paper presents the design of a distributed multi-physics integration tool, with the aim of providing high-level support for the integration of existing applications into full featured multi-physics simulation tools. The abstract and application of inde- pendent steering and data exchange are achieved by defining an application interface, that has to be implemented by individual applications. The design supports various coupling strategies and discretization techniques. The focus of the work presented is on the distributed aspects of the framework design.
