    Fire Simulation of Dysfunctional Fire Seal

    It is important that fire zones are separated by fire dividing structures. A penetration in the fire separation wall or fire separation ceiling (eg. for piping, cable distribution, etc.) must be protected against a spread of fire from one fire section toanother. Modification of these penetrations we called as fire seals or fire barrier. These structure should have at least the same fire resistance as the structural element through which pass. The main goal is to prevent spread of fire, smoke and othercombustion products during fire. This paper is focused on computer simulation of the influence of dysfunctional fire seal on spread of fire and combustion products.
