Original language description
Software "Ortho-range image from point cloud" is aimed on processing 3D scanner datasets. The software has a functions for transforming large 3D point cloud datasets from 3D scanners into a various types of ortho-image (high in greyscale, high in hypsometry colour, intensity, colour, density in greyscale, density with colour and minimax in greyscale ortho-image) and range-image (range in greyscale, range in hypsometry colour, intensity and colour range-image) types of 2D raster data. There is also a function for DTM (digital terrain model) ground segmentation from vegetation and other disturbance areas. The main contribution of the software to the state of the art of similar software is the self-developed function for density in greyscale and density with colour ortho-image. The software is able to process the data in a batch mode also.

Technical parameters
Software umožňuje tvorbu několika typů orto a hloubkových snímků ve formě 2D rastrových dat s přiloženou informací pro případné georeferencování těchto výstupů. Vstupními daty je mračno bodů v ASCII formátu získané například 3D skenerem.

Generované orto a hloubkové snímky mohou být s výhodou využity jako jeden z důležitých výstupů při dokumentaci památkových objektů. Odhadovaná cena těchto výstupů je od několika desítek až po několik stovek Euro. Hlavní ekonomickou výhodou tohoto software je fakt, že generované výstupy jsou většinou nedílnou součástí dokumentace památkových objektů a málokterý SW nabízí takové množstvý typů výstupů.
