The modern typology of residential architecture in the cities of industrial urbanized European countries is analysed. It is defined that all residential buildings are subdivide into two basic general types: individual residential houses and apartment residential buildings. Different types of modern European residential buildings concerning the actual factors and number of criteria are developed and classified.
