    Autogenous shrinkage of alkali activated fly ashes was measured on various compositions on the level of paste. Mixing fly ash with alkalies and/or ordinary Portland cement (OPC) creates a new binder with improved durability and strength compared to the traditional OPC. The shrinkage of this new material is not well known and was not sufficiently measured before. Two different mixes with high application potential for the civil engineering were investigated. The results were compared with the autogenousshrinkage of the OPC paste.
