*Mapping from Discrete to Continuum-Based Models
Original language description
*In this report, a sequential mapping method between two models - the Cohesive Particle Model (CPM) based on the discrete element method and the continuum-based Damage-Plastic Model (DPLM) - is described. The focus is set to the conversion of discrete quantities into their continuous counterparts, specifically discrete forces into the stress tensor and damage at discrete points into continuous damage. This information is further applied in the mapping of these quantities from the CPM model to the DPLM model.
