Current building construction trend and potential energy efficiency way for buildings in Turkey

  • Original language description

Energy efficient building is any type of building that uses less energy than a regular one. Low-energy buildings typically use high levels of insulations, energy efficient windows, low levels of air infiltration and heat recovery ventilation to lower heating and cooling energy. The paper consists of explanations about TurkishThermal Insulation norms for insulating calculations and multicriterial evaluation of buildings and optimisation for lowering the energy on the way of energy efficiency.
