The article deals with the important problem of industrial cities ? problem of use of the nonoperating and noneffective industrial objects (as well as in status industrial heritage). The relevance and topicality of the problem of new use of postindustrial ob-jects have been defined. The conversion of industrial architecture into new sustainable social functions as the reasonable method has been suggested.
