Application of Genetic Programming for Inverse Analysis of Moisture Transport in Blended-Cement Mortar
Original language description
A new approach for determination of moisture diffusivity of building materials is presented in the paper. The approach is based on applying the genetic programming for the inverse analysis of moisture transport. In a practical example, moisture transportin blended-cement mortar containing a mix of Portland cement and diatomite as binder is analyzed. At first, moisture profiles are measured under laboratory conditions and then they are subjected to inverse analysis by genetic programming. In this way, the moisture diffusivity as a function of moisture content is obtained.
