A Stereotemperature - The Value for Evaluation Non-Uniformity of the Indoor Environment
Original language description
Non-uniformity thermal load on man often occurs in indoor environment. This load causes an excessive warming and cooling of exposed surfaces of human body. A building with a light external cladding (office buildings) is one of the examples. Large windowsare a source of the thermal radiation in summer (but also in spring and autumn), and of excessive cold radiation in winter. The amendment of the microclimatic part of the Government Regulation of the Czech Republic No. 93/2012 Coll., particularly in irregular radiant-convective load evaluation changes using introduces stereotemperature. This Standard describes the thermal stress evaluation in the workplace with regular and irregular (horizontal and vertical) thermal load. The stereothermometer allows us to evaluate the all-directional effect of radiation or convection and their influence on the quality of the indoor environment. The stereotemperature is measured by instrument called a Globe Stereothermometer.
