ZANÁŠENÍ VODNÍCH NÁDRŽÍ SPLAVENINAMI - MODELOVÁNÍ, KVANTIFIKACE A MOŽNOSTI OCHRANY
Original language description
The implementation of Water Framework Directive in the Czech Republic is the background of the four-year project to assess eutrophication factors in endangered catchments. The covers approximately 40% of the Czech Repub. (almost 31 500 km2). The eutrophication as well as soil erosion process are important processes in the agricultural land and reservoirs with wide impacts. The results of the project are important for the catchment management in next years. In the article are results of the project for the 58 final reservoirs presented. Thousands of small ponds as well as tens of thousands of streams parts with information about sediment transport and trapping are also known and will be presented.
