Differences in testing of fracture properties of fiber reinforced concrete by flexural tests
Original language description
Mechanical properties of fiber reinforced concrete (FRC) are frequently tested on specimens loaded by bending moment and corresponding shear force. The engineering approach uses the four-point bending test on beams without notch. The mechanical approachuses the three-point bending test on notched beams. This paper compares two different layouts of testing of mechanical and fracture properties of FRC.
