The sheet erosion analysis and the sediment transport calculation method at the experimetal area
Original language description
This article deals with describing of sheet erosion at the experimental area of The Pozarsky stream catchment. The experimental area is located near the town Krivoklát, in the Central Bohemian Region, where highlands dominate. This area is characterizedby the occurrence of very deep valley, shaped like the letter "U" to "V", which contain torrents and often deep gullies. In this experimental area, there are built five torrent control cross-section objects. Especially two of them are located in the gullies, which are surrounded by managed fields. There is an assumption of the sheet erosion occurence. The sheet erosion consideration was processed by modeling erosion and transport processes with two appropriate methods ? The sediment transport calculation method based on Gavrilovic method (Skopek, 1988) and Modeling water erosion by model WaTEM / SEDEM 2.1.0, which is based on the RUSLE model (Renard et al., 1993). Both two methods deals with annual total sediment volume, but each method
