    The paper deals with the assessment of losses in the pipe relief chamber (HOBAS CSO Chamber), which is sold by the HOBAS company. As a result of the pre-treatment of coarse dirt, there are local and frictional losses in overflow slot and self-cleaning screens. The main objective of this research was to determine the pressure losses of relief chamber for different states - without screens, with screens and with clogged screens. From the measured values can be derived more accurate results than from the tabular calculation. For further research will be used a mathematical model, which allows to obtain more data on local losses on individual parts of the overflow chamber.
