Case Study of Indirect Evaporative Cooling in the Main Building of TU/e Eindhoven
Original language description
Project presents a case study of ventilative cooling and indirect evaporative cooling. A part of the building has been modeled using simulation software TRNSYS and different strategies of ventilation control have been implemented in different types of zones and different usage profiles. Influence of ventilation control to cooling demand is observed. Also is investigated influence of exposed roof in las floor, same as orientation and height room, trying to set up the ventilation to minimize cooling load. The work has discovered a big opportunity in ventilative cooling, and also small weaknesses to ventilative cooling have been found.
