Influence of Ductility of Concrete Reinforcement to the Loading Capacity of Beam Elements

  • Original language description

The paper presents the results of large series of bending tests, which were demonstrated on beams of size 150/150/1800 mm (theoretical span of 1500 mm) from fibre reinforced concrete (FRC) reinforced with two types of reinforcement B500A and B500C (companies EPSTAL). The arrangement of the load on beams was targeted on bending resistance (1st stage) and shear resistance (2nd stage). Presented records from bending tests (F/? ? so called diagrams of resistance) quite distinctly show the diversity of behaviour and resistances FRC beams with use of various reinforcement ductility. The records of the tests is show a distinct difference in the use of different types of fibres in FRC composites. The results of the tests are complemented by results of the other tests, which were done to obtain the basic characteristics of the used FRC and concrete reinforcements. Analysis of the test results, which is the primary concern of this paper is mainly focus on the influence of applied steel reinforce
