Analysis of Cable-Membrane Structures: Dynamic Relaxation Method

  • Original language description

This paper is focused on the static analysis of the roofing of the Barrandov tram stop in Prague. The technique of dynamic relaxation will be used. The verification of methods will be studied on one cable structure and one cable-membrane structures. TheBarrandov tram stop is a cable-membrane structure with a central symmetry, only one fourth of the structure is subjected to modelling. There will be presented in three stages of modeling: ?Cable model?, ?Cable-membrane model ? simple ? and ?Cable-membrane model ? simple mesh 2?. The background for the creation of the model is the geodetic survey of the existing structure made in November 2013. The results show a relatively good agreement with the measurement. For cable-membrane models would be needed tobetter practices to improve mesh of membranes. Therefore, implementation of the algorithm in the program SIFEL is in the process.
