Mathematical modeling of run-off from cultivated catchment during rainfall events
Original language description
The paper presents result of rainfall-runoff modeling in Erosion-3D software. Based on measurements from instrumented experimental watershed the model was calibrated to produce reliable flow rate data at the watershed outlet. The experimental site of theDepartment of Irrigation, Drainage and Landscape Engeering near Prusice in Central Bohemia was set up in 2011 and is equipped to record values related to water and sediment transport from small catchment. Two rainfall events recorded in the watershed in2013 are used to calibrate input parameters of the model. Outputs of the model are observed in short (hours) and longer (days) simulations. Models in 1 m and 3 m resolution are compared.
