Original language description
For assessment of different traditional techniques of the asphalt pavement rehabilitation, a new calculation tool has been developed based on previous activities done at Czech Technical University in Prague. The newly designed software application OptiRec TM is designed to find the optimal way of road structure rehabilitation. By inserting minimal amount of input data, user easily gets the basic comparison of applicable methods. The tool consists of traditional method and its technological variants of flexible pavement rehabilitation as well as traditional rehabilitation methods with high content of RAP (reclaimed asphalt pavement) material included (more than 20 %). OptiRec provides costs calculation of the road rehabilitation, environmental emission impact from construction process (CO2, NOx, HC, CO, PM) and project time-demand for all included methods. Software outputs may be used to find and support the most environmental or economical friendly rehabilitation method. Software also contains of a practical example.
