    The issue of cleanliness of water flows must be approached from many angles, it can not be viewed solely from the perspective of the number of built wastewater treatment plants and the quality of their treatment processes. It is necessary to include in this issue a the number and technical level of other buildings on the sewer network. Sewerage facilities, which undoubtedly belong to those which most affect the recipient in terms of purity, are the sewer overflow (OK). A well-designed sewer overflow will minimize investment costs and the impact on the flow pollution . Overflows are in many ways the most complex objects of the sewer network. Very important are hydraulic and construction designs of standardized overflows. These objects are in the last years in the spotlight of research and development.
