Efficiency of air ducts in historical buildings
Original language description
The article is aimed at verifying the effectiveness of air insulation remedial methods that are currently being implemented in a number of buildings. A specific example of a building hit by moisture is given here where a longitudinal air duct was designed to the humidity of the structure. The paper describes the results of a comparative analysis of the expected and the actual effect on the rehabilitated structure five years after renovation. It also includes a final assessment of the success of maintenance operations and determines the degree of effectiveness of the maintenance methods applied to the object. These findings may help to eliminate the potential failure of maintenance intervention in the future.
