SORPTION PROPERTIES OF UNBURNED EARTH UNDER INFLUENCE OF DRYING METHOD

  • Original language description

The paper presents partial results of measurement of sorption properties of clay materials and their impact on the indoor climate. There are described the differences in the measured values of the specific mixtures of unfired clay dried before measurement by various methods. The goal of the research project is to investigate ability of different materials to regulate moisture in the interior and therefore contribute to creation of quality microclimate. We deal with the experimental determination of sorption isotherms of various natural materials and their comparison. The project is part of a long-term research unburned earth and natural materials in building construction that takes place at the Faculty of Civil Engineering in Prague, Department of Building Structures.
