This thesis is optimizing the inlet object of the secondary clarifier on the Central waste water treatment plant in Prague. Aim of this thesis is find the right position of the proposed baffle for better function of the clarifier. Optimization is done by2D and 3D mathematic modeling (CFD). Separation efficiency and environmental impact is determinate according to the amount of suspended solids in overflowed water. Function of baffle is test by field measuring that is compared to the math model.
