Original language description
We present simple method for bias correction of high temporal resolution rainfall data from commercial microwave links (MWLs). Our results indicate that MWLs can be conveniently corrected even by remote rain gauges with low temporal resolution, i.e. by rainfall information often available by national weather services. Corrected MWL data correspond very well to reference rainfall measured in our experimental catchment. The presented method can be thus conveniently used to correct MWL bias, especially insparsely gauged catchments.
