A Review of Water Fire Suppression Systems
Original language description
A review has been undertaken to identify types of water fire supression systems used nowadays and to find a potentional improvement of these systems. This paper provides a review of the water spray as like as water mist fire supression systems. It showspossibility to improve water efficiency to fire extinguishing by surfactants or cycling discharge. Moreover, this article explains extinguishing mechanism depending on water droplet size. In addition, the methods of water atomization by different kinds of nozzles are also performed.
