Original language description
Hygrothermal performance of a newly developed building envelope based on light weight cavity brick blocks with foam PU cavity filler is studied in the paper. The studied structure is exposed to the severe climatic loading corresponding to the winter climatic conditions that represent critical climatic exposure from the point of view of materials functionality. The evaluation of hygrothermal performance of a researched brick envelope is done on the basis of relative humidity and temperature profiles measured along the cross section of the cavity brick block. The obtained results show a good hygrothermal function of the analysed brick building envelope provided with foam PU cavity filler.
