Original language description
The content of this study is the comparison of calculated deflections of a flat slab. The flat slab was designed according to the European standards and technical specifications valid in Czech Republic. In the study the deflections are compared in the centre of the middle panel of a flat slab obtained by the computer program Scia Engineer and those obtained by the manual calculation using simplified assumptions. The slab was subjected to quasi-permanent loads. The deflections were calculated for short and long time loading using various assumptions for the behaviour of concrete.
