The paper deals with the assessment of losses in the pipe overflow chamber (HOBAS CSO Chamber), sold by HOBAS. The main objective of the research was to determine the pressure loss overflows under various conditions - with self-cleaning screen-bars, with screens and with clogged screens. Measurements were carried out on a physical model CSO scale M 1:5 with 4 probes for measuring heights of water levels. The measured values were compared with CSO installed in Děčín. Simultaneously, the ideal shape of intelligent self-cleaning screens was studied, so that oscillation of the free ends support a self-cleaning function.
