Original language description
This paper deals with validation of simplified lumped parameter thermal models of a building. In the first part of the paper a systematic overview of simplified lumped parameter models has been performed to provide set of models which will be examined. In the second part of the paper comparative testing has been performed in order to select the best candidate for simplified lumped parameter model. Eight BESTEST qualification cases were simulated. The third order lumped parameter building thermal model consistently predicted annual outputs within the BESTEST reference results.
