    The Optimisation of Design of a Pass Through the Cooling Tower for Exhaust Pipe

    The technology of distributing exhaust gas into the cooling tower is used at coal-fired power plants with cooling towers of type Iterson. The introduction of exhaust pipe into the cooling tower can be realized both for new cooling towers and for existing cooling towers. The exhaust pipe can be supported or not be supported by the bottom edge at the point of pass through the new cooling tower shell. Supporting of exhaust pipe at the point of pass through the cooling tower shell is not use at the existing cooling towers. The introduction of exhaust pipe into the cooling tower is a very great intervention to constructions of cooling tower shell with considering that size of exhaust pipe. The shell of cooling tower is not designed on this intervention. . From this reason the article contains a optimisation of design of a pass through the existing cooling tower for exhaust pipe with possibility supporting of exhaust pipe at the point of pass through the existing cooling tower shell.
