Improvement and Innovation in the Management of Change Orders
Original language description
Abstract: Project changes affect the cost, the scheduling, and the duration of projects, both directly and indirectly. Despite many articles and much discussion in practice and academic literature, there is a lack of information about systematic approaches to manage project change. In this paper researcher tried to find and improvement a methodology to manage change orders' effects, and put it as a first point toward the innovation in this field, since the selection process for a system for managing innovation is the same as the process for choosing any improvement methodology and embarking on organizational change. If a thing can be observed in any way at all, it lends itself to some type of measurement method, no matter how “fuzzy” the measurement is, it´s still a measurement if it tells you more than you knew before. The searcher painted a flow chart for the implementation of change orders in order to identify steps and control measures can implement. She also explained the owner role in the improvement and innovation because of his role in the project and his big responsibility of change order causes as shown in this paper.
