Unburned clay is a traditional building material whose quality and material properties were in the last decades broadly forgotten. One of the processing method of unburned clay is technology of ramming. This technology allows building of supporting structures whose properties however are not from to days point of view properly described. One of basic material properties that has to be known for proper rammed construction project is a speed of drying. Information about the drying speed is important because drying is a process that determines the material strength. This submission concerns with experimental assessment of drying speed of rammed clay and an dependency of this speed on a volume of investigated material.
