Computational modeling of the effect of external environment on the degradation of high-performance concrete
Original language description
The effect of environmental loads on the degradation of high-performance concrete is investigated. For the analysis three different types of high-performance concrete are chosen and a series of computational hygrothermal simulations is performed. In the simulation of climatic load test-reference-year data for three different locations are used as boundary conditions. The analysis of results of hygrothermal simulations is performed using several different damage functions. Based on the damage-function outputs the effect of external environment on the degradation of building envelopes is assessed.
