Original language description
The presented research deals in a complex way with the investigation of the use of non-destructive testing methods for the evaluation of structural timber and for determination of the performance of structural timber elements. The paper focuses also on the effect of differences in the device structure on results of measurement of timber properties. Final part of paper deals with system of opto-fiber sensors for monitoring and diagnostics of mechanical stress of timber beams.
