The annual load of the total deposition of S-SO4 in the catchments Josefův Důl (JD) and Souš (S) of the Jizera Mountains is based on historical records of precipitation and acid loads through vertical and horizontal precipitation. The aim of the map is to show an effect of forestry practices on a deposition of sulphur and to support forest practices in the Jizera Mountains. There is calculated the impacts of two scenarios: A: even aged mature spruce forests, B: the structured forestry with beech stands in riparian and soil protection zones, spruce stands with reduced crown closure to 0.5 at the slopes below 30%, and, a grass cover in elevations above 900 m.
