Early age calorimetric investigations of geopolymers
Original language description
Early age hydration heat power and hydration heat of several types of geopolymers is determined by an isothermal heat flow calorimeter. Waste ceramic powder is used as the precursor, while a mixture of sodium water glass and sodium hydroxide in different ratios is utilized as the alkaline activator. The analyzed geopolymer pastes show a high polymerization reactivity at the early age. The total hydration heat is found to depend significantly on the silicate modulus of the activator.
