Original language description
The paper presents the results of a laboratory study of pyroxenite and carbonate core samples taken at different depths in an open pit mine. Longitudinal and shear wave velocities in these samples were measured with an error of 0.1%. The local porosity of the samples was evaluated with the use of broadband ultrasonic struc-turoscopy.
