Mechanické vlastnosti transparentních lepených spojů s vlivem stárnutí
Original language description
Adhesive connections become common in a lot of industries as automotive or aerospace. They are also used in civil engineering but not for load-bearing structures. Nowadays, there is research in adhesive connections for load-bearing structures e.g. façade elements, composite structures, glass structures. This paper is focused on experimental testing of adhesively connected glass specimens. Two transparent epoxy adhesives were tested in double-lap shear specimens. It was obtained maximal shear strength, displacement and typical failure mode. First tested adhesive showed low shear strength to glass with dominant adhesive failure. The second epoxy adhesive showed higher shear strength in comparison with the first one, glass specimens failed by glass rupture.
