Original language description
This program is used for the calculation of the span/depth ratio of a reinforced concrete member and its limiting span/depth ratio according to EN 1992-1-1. Using this limit, the deflection of the member in normal circumstances can be assessed. Provided that the span/depth ratio does not exceed the limiting span/depth ratio, the deflections may be considered as not exceeding the limits set out in EN 1992-1-1. However, when that span/depth ratio exceeds the limiting value, it is necessary to calculate the deflections explicitly, e.g. using the method given by EN 1992-1-1. The outputs of this program are the calculated span/depth ratio and limiting span/depth ratio and an assessment of the deflection problems.
